Refund & cancellation policy
Last updated: 5 August 2026. Applies to Visionary APIs courses, weekends, evening clinics, and private mentoring.
Eligibility overview
Refunds depend on how far enrolment has progressed, whether materials have been issued, and whether sessions have started. Australian Consumer Law rights remain available where a service has a major failure.
Timeframe for full refund
You may cancel for a full refund of course fees paid if you notify us in writing at least 14 days before the first scheduled session of a cohort, weekend, or clinic, and no printed workbook or digital materials pack has been issued.
Partial refunds
Cancellations between 13 and 7 days before the first session receive a 50% refund of fees paid, less the cost of any materials already printed or shipped for you. Cancellations inside 7 days are generally not refundable, except where Visionary APIs cancels the course or Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.
Non-refundable items
- Deposits marked as non-refundable on your enrolment confirmation once materials production has begun
- Printed workbooks once dispatched or collected
- Completed private mentoring hours
- Recording access once streaming credentials have been used
Work already started
If a cohort has begun and you withdraw, fees for completed sessions are non-refundable. We may offer a partial credit toward a later cohort at our discretion when medical or compassionate circumstances are documented.
Deposits
Deposits secure your seat and are applied to the course fee. They become non-refundable once we have ordered or printed your materials, or within 7 days of course start — whichever comes first — unless we cancel the offering.
Rescheduling
You may request one free transfer to a later cohort of the same course if seats exist and you give at least 7 days’ notice before the original start. Additional transfers may incur an administration fee of AUD 75. Private mentoring can be rescheduled once without charge with 48 hours’ notice.
No-shows
Missing a live session without prior notice does not create a refund. Recordings are provided only where the course description includes them. Private mentoring no-shows without 24 hours’ notice forfeit that hour.
Visionary APIs cancellations
If we cancel a course for low enrolment or instructor unavailability, you receive a full refund or a free transfer to a future date — your choice.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@visionaryapis.digital with your name, course, and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Bank processing times may add several days beyond that.
Purchased materials
Optional printed chart pads or third-party books ordered through us follow the supplier’s return rules. Opened consumables are not returnable.
